Bobby started Evident Systems LLC to help companies realize the benefits of DevOps and microservices for their core business systems. Bobby has spoken at conferences and written about achieving better microservices architectures.
Prior to founding Evident Systems, Bobby was a Distinguished Engineer (Director) on the Technology Fellows team at Capital One. While working on a project to modernize a core banking system, Bobby and his team were awarded Capital One’s highest associate honor, the Circle of Excellence Award.
Before joining Capital One, Bobby was Director of Product Engineering at B23 LLC, a startup working on enabling big data solutions in cloud environments. Before B23, Bobby worked on the Product Team at Cognitect building, testing, and helping customers win with Datomic. Bobby’s been writing web applications and distributed systems with Clojure and ClojureScript since 2010, and before that in Java, Ruby and Rails, and client-side techs since 2006.Prior to joining Evident Systems, Ronald worked with Bobby Calderwood as a member of the Technology Fellows team at Capital One. He developed prototypes of future technology that could one day replace credit cards as we know them today. Ronald holds various patents in diverse areas including social media crowd sourcing, domestic entertainment systems, automated logging and debugging technology, and memory management architecture.
